Hey there,

I'm developing a Game for Android and I'm currently setting up the
Achievements for it. Everything is working so far, except the pictures i
need for the Achievements.

The Developer Console says, that i need to upload a JPG or 24Bit PNG File
with the size of 512x512. My files do fulfil these requirements but the
developer-console-page tells me my files are invalid and i need to upload a
JPG or 24Bit PNG ...

What can i do? I actually wanted to release my game in the next few hours
...
sardar khan <sardar.khan299@gmail.com>: Nov 25 05:56PM +0500

use png images

KICKinYaFACE <kickinyaface@web.de>: Nov 25 05:06AM -0800

PNGs do not work for me as well.

Holy.... If i tell you my files fulfil those requirements and do not work,
do you think i try to upload some mp4 files or what?!
I tried jpg AND png Files. Always 512x512. I tried saving them through
Photoshop, through Paint and Paint.net. The DeveloperConsole keeps telling
me these files are invalid.
I attached 2 files as example. Maybe someone can tell me whats wrong with
them.

I have this same problem today. Earlier everything was working fine. I'll send e-mail to Google Technical Support for Developers, if they answer my question about this I will share with you this knowledge.

I hope that somebody here tell more faster than Google.
sardar khan <sardar.khan299@gmail.com>: Nov 25 06:52PM +0500

it should be a bug from google developer console.

KICKinYaFACE <kickinyaface@web.de>: Nov 25 07:49AM -0800

It's somewhat working now.
I still get the "invalid file" messages, sometimes i get "try again"
messages but on the thrid or fourth try its accepted now.

darkman237 <darkman1@email.com>: Nov 25 11:25AM -0800

I wrote an app in Unity3d and was about to put it out as beta. It worked on
the PC version, but I'm having some trouble with the android version.
I had quite a time getting my tablet, a Kindle Fire 5, to connect with my
PC, running XP Pro. When I finally got that working, it took several
combinations of drivers to get it to work.
After I hook up the tablet to the computer and build, I got an error
WSAPoll could not be located in WS2_32.dll. After some research, it looks
like it needs the google usb drivers from the Android SDK installed, and
possibly an update to the other sw. My question is are the google usb
drivers compatible with XP or do I have to wait to release the beta until I
upgrade my system?
Thanks in advance.

Hi, From past few days i am trying to disable the crash dialogue for the

For java i have written uncaught exception handler. But for native there is

background service only.

Thanks in advance.

I have setup a Virtual Device using the Android Studio Emulator, I decided
on Nexus 6 and API 24.

I want to download some apps but the Emulated "Phone" does not appear to
come with the Google Play Store app.

I can run it in the Chrome browser, but when I try and download anything I
get "You don't have any devices" followed by the message "You haven't
accessed the Google Play Store app..on your device with this email account".

Seems to be a catch 22, how can I download the Play Store app if the
download option will not let me download anything until I have executed the
Play Store app?

An internet search gives lots of hits for this message, and I have tried
all the suggestions I can figure out but none of them work, however they
don't appear to be for someone in my position, trying to get Play Store
working on an Emulator.

Please help!

Hi!

I have a problem with adding a new applicaton. Earlier I was published two apps without any problem using this same template to be sure that all sizes of
images was correct (Eg. Icon 512x512).

Now when I try add a new application using this same template and this same sizes in Google Play Developer Console I receive an error that inform me size of picture is bad.

I dont have idea what to do in this situation.

Hi all,

I am new to this group and I hope I can get few answers :)

I am in process of design an app which will require a "back-end web based
platform"... something like Uber, where *I assume* all the info is stored
on a web platform/database and each app installation just queries/requests
partial information (and eventually some of this info is cached locally)...

my dilemma is on how to develop the "central platform/database"... which
technology? which architecture? is there any best practice I can look-up?

Many thanks all

Cheers
